Ganganaadu is a farming community under the mighty Kodachadri Peak. Here, we have acquired a farm that comprises rubber trees, fruiting trees, rice paddy and several vegetable patches. It is surrounded on three sides by the heavily wooded forests of the Western Ghats.

The location is a great starting point to explore a series of famous waterfalls. A mountain stream runs along the northern boundary with a natural reservoir near the property.

The plan is to develop a farm stay licensed product with rustic materials in the traditional style of the rural construction in this area — laterite bricks, wood, hand plaster, tiled roofs, verandas and courtyards. Engineered seasoned bamboo structures are also possible.

The experience will be built around tending to the farm and the therapy of working with one’s hands. There are extensive opportunities for hiking and experiencing village life beyond the property.

Samse is an iron ore mining community turned tiger conservatory at the edge of the Kudremukh National Park. The mines have been reclaimed by the forest and the park is now home to relocated tigers from some of the more densely populated tiger parks. Samse is the base camp for the popular hike up the Kudremukh peak — well known for its horse head shape — that draws large crowds on weekends to make the day-long summit and descent.

The property here is a plantation for coffee, pepper and forest fruits.

The experience involves safaris, birding, hiking, swimming, waterfalls and other local experiences.

Surlabi is located in an isolated yet well connected quarter of Coorg. Located on the back of the Pushpagiri peak, the property is a cardamom estate in a horseshoe shape with a small valley in between. The development of a hamlet will be undertaken sustainably, in keeping with the environmentally sensitive zone norms.
